Getting here

You should organise a flight from your Country of Origin to one of these major cities in South east Asia. Then take a domestic flight onward to Padang.

For your internal flights to and from Padang, we recommend:

Please arrive to Padang airport between the hours of 11.00 and 15.00 as the boat departs port between 15.00 to 17.00.

Meeting up with you

Our Representative will be in Padang airport on your arrival day to transfer you directly to the boat or to a restaurant if you arrive early. Your return transfer from the boat to Padang airport is also provided on your departure day and we recommend your return flight from Padang is no earlier than 08.00 on this morning. Please try and co-ordinate your group to arrive at the same time. If you are spending a night in Padang prior to your departure date we will also collect you from your hotel and transfer you to the boat.

What to bring

  • Phone, Camera, Drone, chargers and adaptors
  • Water bottle
  • Boards, bring a few options and backups
  • Tropical Wax
  • 3-4 extra leashes – at least one for bigger days
  • Spare fins
  • Surf/sun hat
  • Reef booties
  • Ding repair kit, sun cure resin
  • Sunglasses
  • Beach Towel (bath towel provided)
  • Extra cash for crew tips and souvenirs.
  • Copy of passport, insurance Doc’s.

Medical extras to bring

We have a comprehensive medical kit on board however we also recommend you bring a smaller, personal first aid kit containing the following suggestions:

  • Bandages/band aids
  • Anti-biotic ointment
  • Anti-rash powder/cream
  • Betadine
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Anti-nausea tablets
  • Pain relief (asprin or Panadol)
  • Muscle relaxant (nurofen or Ibuprofun)
  • Sunburn cream
  • Mosquito repellent
  • Cold/Flu tablets

Please consult your doctor regarding Tetanus, Hepatitis and Malaria medication.
